  1. Ability to apply theoretical and practical knowledge of mathematics, science and industrial engineering in order to solve complex industrial engineering problems.
  1. Ability to identify, formulate and solve complex engineering problems and ability to utilize appropriate analyzing and modelling methods.
  1. Ability to design a system, a component, a process or a product to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability and sustainability; regarding this purpose, to be able to utilize modern design techniques.
  1. Ability to develop, select and use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practices.
  1. Ability to design and conduct experiments, collect data, analyze results and interpret to examine complex engineering problems or research topics specific to the discipline.

  1. Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written in Turkish and at least one foreign language; ability to write effective reports and understand written reports, prepare design and production reports, make effective presentations, give and receive clear and understandable instructions.
